The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of Blandville Road and Massac County Church Road for a collision with injuries. An investigation showed that Alex Alvey, 22 yoa from Paducah, side swiped a semi while traveling outbound on Blandville Road. Tom Hecht, 53 yoa from Farmington, MO, was operating the semi and was un-injured in the collision. Alex Alvey was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Currently DES is working traffic and has Blandville Road down to one lane of traffic. The investigation is ongoing.
