CC Metals and Alloys Donates to Three Area Organizations

CCMA Executives Mordechai Korf & Uriel Laber: “We are proud to provide support to three tremendous organizations that help fight hunger, provide critical family health services, and make our community even stronger.”

(Calvert City, KY) Today, CC Metals & Alloys (CCMA), a mining and metals company led by Mordechai Korf and Uriel Laber that employs dozens of local Kentucky workers, announced donations to three local organizations in Marshall County that provide critical food and meal services as well as family health services to hundreds of families in need across the region.

A $15,000 donation from CCMA will be distributed equally among the following organizations:

  • Marcella’s Kitchen (Benton, KY)
  • Marshall County Caring Needline (Benton, KY)
  • H.O.P.E. Clinic (Benton, KY)

“Giving back to our local community has always been one of our core values,” said Mordechai Korf and Uriel Laber of CCMA in a joint statement. “CCMA is committed to stepping up and supporting our neighbors, which is why we are proud to provide support to three tremendous organizations that help fight hunger, provide critical family health services, and make our community even stronger.”

Today’s donation follows a long history of CCMA supporting the local community. This past December, CCMA provided crucial food and housing support to six local charities helping hundreds of Kentucky families at Christmastime, and the company provided over $70,000 in needed relief supplies to support the recovery of Kentucky communities after a tornado moved through Western Kentucky.

Chris Cobb, Plant Manager at CCMA’s Calvert City Production Facility, said: “Under the leadership of Motti Korf and Uriel Laber, CCMA has been a strong supporter of local organizations and giving back to the Marshall County community. We are proud to continue that tradition today by supporting the import work that Marcella Kitchen, Marshall County Caring Needline, and H.O.P.E. Clinic do for the Benton, KY community and surrounding areas.”
