Jerome Dean Puckett, age 87, of Cunningham, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 66 years. Also, a daughter, Ann Lovett and husband, Thomas Lovett Jr. of Murray and a son, Brian Puckett and wife, Theresa Puckett, and one grandson, Zachary Puckett, all of Gallatin, Tennessee. He leaves behind one brother, Kenneth Pucket and wife, Belva Puckett of Paducah and one sister, Sue Hays of Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Zuleema Moore Puckett and a sister, Karen Hill.
Dean has been a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for 75 years and has lived in Cunningham his entire life. He was an avid horse person and instilled that love of riding into his children. He was a people person who enjoyed talking to everyone he met and his passing will leave a hole in many, many lives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tim Harvey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cuningham.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
