Pursuit Leads to Arrest of Two Women in Tennessee
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, at approximately 8:45 p.m. Calloway County Deputy Sheriff Z. White attempted to stop a silver passenger car for a traffic violation in New Concord. The driver failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit occurred which led into Henry County, Tennessee. The vehicle was stopped in Tennessee and both occupants were taken into custody. Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies located approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine and a significant amount of suspected heroin inside the vehicle. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputies located approximately 5 ounces of methamphetamine along the pursuit route.
Shortly after the pursuit, a warrant of arrest was issued in Kentucky for Lacey Day, charging her with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and various traffic related charges.
Lacey Day, age 23, of Buchanan, Tennessee was lodged in Henry County Jail on Tennessee charges of Vandalism, Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Driving on Suspended License, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. Henry County Sheriff’s Office also charged Day with being a Fugitive in regards to the Kentucky warrant of arrest.
Kimberly Greenwood, age 40, of Cadiz, Kentucky was lodged in Henry County Jail on Tennessee charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.

Two New Concord Women Arrested During Traffic Stop
Date: 03/20/2022
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy T. Doss observed a vehicle in Murray occupied by a known fugitive. A short time later, Deputy Doss located the same vehicle southbound on Highway 121. Deputy Doss stopped the vehicle and inquired as to the whereabouts of the previously seen fugitive.
The operator of the vehicle, Donna Rosengrant, stated she had dropped off the other person just south of Murray after seeing law enforcement. During further investigation, the fugitive was located in the trunk of the vehicle and Rosengrant was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Donna Rosengrant, age 52, of New Concord, Kentucky was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Hindering Apprehension, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
Tracey Kendall, age 40, of New Concord, Kentucky was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest and Probation Violation for Felony Offense. She was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Murray Man Arrested for Trafficking Drugs
Date: 03/14/2022
On Monday, March 14, 2022 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 1300 block of North 16th Street in Murray. The search warrant was issued earlier in the day, following an investigation into possible drug trafficking at the residence. During the search, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a significant amount of prescription controlled substance was located.
Charles K. Sherrill, age 57, of Murray, Kentucky was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Opiates), Trafficking Marijuana, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Paducah Man Arrested During Traffic Stop
Date: 03/14/2022
On Monday, March 14, 2022 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy T. Doss stopped a vehicle on Highway 641 North for a traffic violation. During the stop, two handguns were located. The driver of the vehicle was also determined to have multiple prior felony convictions.
Ronnie H. Sharp, age 47, of Paducah, Kentucky was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, along with various traffic related offenses. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
