
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office had been investigating reports of Methamphetamine being sold locally in this community by 40 year old Michael D. Sullivan of Mayfield. Sullivan currently has a felony indictment pending for felony theft and Methamphetamine possession. He has previous felony convictions for Possession of Methamphetamine, Bail Jumping, Fleeing or Evading Police, and other related offenses.
A search warrant was obtained for a residence located in the 200 block of South 16th Street in Mayfield, in connection to this investigation as Methamphetamine had been purchased from the home and Mr. Sullivan.
On Tuesday March 15, 2022 at approximately 2PM, Sheriff’s detectives, Mayfield Police, and the Kentucky State Police executed the warrant.
Multiple Methamphetamine smoking pipes, used syringes containing Methamphetamine residue, electronic scales that were being used to weigh the drug, and baggies containing suspected Methamphetamine were found and recovered.
Three persons were arrested pursuant to the search.
1) Sullivan, Michael D. age 40 of Mayfield, Ky Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense
2) McCampbell, Samiah Q. ago 34 of Mayfield, Ky Charges: Possession on Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
3) Cope, Jeffrey D. age 49 of Mayfield, Ky Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All three suspects were transported to out of county detention facilities.
