Mrs. Willie Jewel Summers, age 87, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray, KY.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayfield and a former employee of Graves County Livestock and Farmers Livestock.
Mrs. Summers is survived by one son, Dale Summers of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, LeVon (Tim) Page of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Doris McMican of Marion, KY and Barbara Nunn of Desloge, MO; one sister-in-law, Sherry Hendrix of Marion, KY; one brother-in-law, Robert Estes of Rockfield, KY; two grandchildren, Kayla (Kobi) Floyd and Daniel Page; one step-grandchild, Amy (Tommy) Copeland; and one step-great grandchild, Ellie Copeland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Summers; two brothers, Eddie Hendrix and Richard Hendrix; two sisters, Natalie Jo Poindexter and Martha Estes; and her parents, William Camel and Cleo Railey Hendrix.
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Jewel Summers will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Dr. Wes Fowler will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Don Estes, Bill McMican, Roger Poindexter, Kobi Floyd, Howard Smith and Daniel Page. Tommy Garland will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
