On March 12th at approximately 4:54pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Irvin Cobb Dr. The vehicle was a 2000 Gray Mercury SUV driven by 42-year-old Robert Lee Norton of Mayfield, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Norton was in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, a quantity of Marijuana, and items related to Drug Paraphernalia.
Records indicate that Norton has an extensive history involving Methamphetamine and is currently on Probation for Felony drug offenses.
Norton was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
