Katie Lee Theriac, age 84, of Murphysboro, Illinois, formerly of Cairo, Illinois, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Herrin Hospital.
Katie Lee was born on October 13, 1937 in Bardwell to George and Vara Tucker Estes. She enjoyed shopping and tending to her garden of flowers. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Cairo.
Katie Lee is survived by two sons, Rodney Butler (Lisa) of San Diego, California, Freddie Cross of Anna, Illinois; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Weir; one daughter, Debbie Franklin; six sisters, Martha Dean Estes, Betty Jane Estes, Mae Norman, Mary Baugher, Roxie Manker, Dorothy Jean Estes; two brothers, Joe Estes, Johnny Estes and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Shane Davenport officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
