
Land Between the Lakes, Ky./Tenn. – Feb. 28, 2022 – Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will kick off its 2022 season this week with the reopening of its campgrounds, environmental education facilities, and welcome stations.
“We are excited to welcome new and returning visitors to Land Between the Lakes for another great season of camping, environmental education, and outdoor adventures,” said Leisa Cook, area supervisor with the USDA Forest Service at Land Between the Lakes. “Whether you’ve been recreating with us for many years or this will be your first time, we invite you to make lasting memories in your public lands and explore what makes Land Between the Lakes so special and unique.”
Open March 1:
-Energy Lake Campground
-Hillman Ferry Campground
-Piney Campground
Open Wednesday-Sunday beginning March 2; open daily beginning April 1:
-Homeplace 1850s Working Farm
-North Welcome Station
-South Welcome Station
-Woodlands Nature Station
*Tentatively open daily beginning April 1:
-Moss Creek Day Use Area

-Basic and dispersed camping
-Elk & Bison Prairie
-Golden Pond Planetarium and Observatory
-Outdoor recreation activities
-Turkey Bay Off-Highway Vehicle Area (if conditions allow)
-Wranglers Campground and Day Use
