Mark Alan Counts, 68, of Boaz, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Counts was retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He was of the Christian faith and loved to play pool.
Mark is survived by his mother, Zelta L. Younker Counts of Boaz, Kentucky; a daughter, Alexandra ‘Lexie’ Counts of Lincoln Park, Michigan; a son, Kyle Counts (Dancy) of Wayne, Michigan; two grandchildren, Julian Smith and Caroline Counts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin ‘Roy’ Counts Jr.; and a brother, Mike Lyn Counts.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
