Bettie Sue Irvan, age 85, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She was the former owner of Grandma’s Inn Preschool in Benton a member of the Fairdealing Church of Christ.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond Owen Washburn and the late Clara Louise (Downing) Washburn. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie Irvan and one brother: Ronnie Owen Washburn.
She is survived by her caretaker Rita Murray of Benton, KY and one daughter: Nancy J. Davenport.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Graveside funeral service will be at Fairdealing Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 14, 2022, with David Hendrickson officiating. Interment will be at Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY. There is no visitation scheduled for Mrs. Irvan.
