Trena Mae Smitley, age 60 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Benton Church of Christ.
Born Monday, May 22, 1961 in Murray, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elcie Mirl and Shella (Borders) Collins.
Surviving are son, Stanley Douglas Smitley of Benton, KY, brothers, Ray Collins, wife Martha of Paducah, KY, Jake Collins, wife Risha of Alabama, sister, Trudy Hayden, husband Jerry of Paducah, KY, and grandchildren, Douglas Isiah Smitley, Jeramiah Thomas Smitley, and Makenzie Maelynn Smitley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Becky Brummitte.
Private family funeral services will be held.
