Edward “Ed” Bing, 70, of Union City, TN passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Ed was born on April 30, 1951 in Hickman, KY to the late Edward and Claudia Bing. At a young age he began working for the Union City Fire Department and served as a 1st Lieutenant before retiring. Ed cherished all of the time he could spend with his family. Some of the things he enjoyed the most was visiting the ocean, going camping and taking trips with his grandchildren Alex Gray, Tori Gray, Katie Gray, Logan Gray, and Matty Kelly. He also loved taking any chance he could to go pick up and spend time with his great grandchildren Bella, Falcon, Blaise and Ryder. More than anything else, he loved and adored his family and just wanted to spend all of his time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Felisha Ann Bing; one daughter, Stephanie Perry of TN; one son, Chad Bing of TX; two stepsons, Scott Gray (Holly) of VA and Jamie Gray of TN; several sisters; several brothers; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and his best friend, Jim Barron who was like a brother to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and several sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr. Bro Dale Webb and Jim Barron will officiate and burial will follow at Oak Level Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
