Lady Marshals golf team presented with State Championship rings

Coach Aaron Beth was presented with a plaque from Athletic Director Mike Johnson for his selection as Kentucky’s 2021 NFHS Girls Golf Coach of the Year and NFHS Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.

Marshall County girls’ golf team won the 2021 KHSAA Girls State Golf Tournament making them back-to-back state champions after winning the title in 2020. The 2020 win made school history and the 2021 win made history once again – breaking the old team state record of 615 by one stroke with their two-day score of 614 (306-308).

Before the ring presentation, Head Coach Aaron Beth was recognized for his selection as Kentucky’s 2021 National Federation of High School Girls Golf Coach of the Year and his selection as the 2021 National Federation of High School Girls Basketball Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Marshals to a state runner-up finish last season.
