
For the first time this season, Christian Fellowship lost two consecutive games, both to district opponents Murray and Calloway County. The Lady Eagles won the first of the two-game series against both teams this season and are now tied with Calloway with 3-2 district records. It was Murray’s first district win and they are 1-4.
All three teams are chasing Marshall County who is 3-0 is district play and the Lady Marshals are the Lady Eagles next opponent at home on Thursday.
At 15-7, the Lady Eagles are now tied for the most ever wins in a season at CFS. They finished 15-13 in the 2019-2020 season.
Monday, CFS lost 56-36 to Calloway County. The Lady Eagles fell behind 30-14 at halftime which was followed by a pretty even second half, but the first half deficit proved too much to overcome. Gracie Howard led with 12 points followed by Lily Burnett with 11 and 12 rebounds to record her 12th double-double of the season.
Calloway was led by two eighth graders, Salyer Lowe with 18 points and Jaiden Koch with 15.

Last week, CFS lost 36-27 to Murray. Down by three at 16-13 at halftime, both teams put up three points in the third quarter and battled through the fourth quarter where the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Eagles 15-12.
Howard led with 12 points and Burnett finished with 10. Murray was led by two players, Alyssa Daughrity and Mylee Smith, with 10 points each.
