Master Gardener Barbara Ray joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Despite the cold weather, we can still do things to help our homes look beautiful when spring gets here. Things like mulching and preparing the ground for spring planting. And Ray reminds us that when choosing new plants, perennials come back year after year, while annuals last for only that year. She also reminds you that your indoor houseplants might need more watering than usual since your heaters will be running more now that winter is here.
