If your home or business suffered damage during the recent tornado, help to rebuild and repair is available. FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) is available at the Joe Creason Community Center at the Benton City Park Monday through Friday from 9 to 6. Lori Dana joined us on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. She says the first step is to apply with FEMA, then in most cases you will apply for a disaster loan with SBA. Dana says to apply, even though you might not take the loan. She says it is just part of the process to get help. Non-profits are also eligible for assistance. For SBA assistance, call 1-800-659-2955 or go to disasterloanassistance.sba.gov. Loan application deadline is February 10th, 2022. For FEMA assistance call 800-621-3362 or online at disasterassistance.gov. Or you can stop by the Joe Creason Center in Benton.
