Updated information for Marshall County residents

Emergency Operations Center Donations and Resources line has now been established. Those who have been affected by the storm can call this number to be connected with resources or to receive donations. Those wishing to donate materials and/resources may also call this number for assistance.

Starting 12-16-21 all volunteers need to check in at the Marshall County High School main office, NOT East Marshall Fire Department.

ROAD CLOSURES
Ivy Road off of Symsonia is now closed all the way down to Cone Drive while electric companies are working. We will post updates when the road is opened.

The area between Cedar Hill and the entrance to Moors Camp Rd. will be closed to all traffic.
Utility (Electric, gas and water) are going to be working in the Cambridge area. Multiple county road departments will be removing vegetation debris off the right of way along the roads. These entities will need unrestricted travel access along these roadways to avoid traffic congestion. On site work should be limited due to the incoming weather, so our crews will utilize this time to maximize the amount of debris removal in the area. We hope to re-open access to these roads as soon as possible. Follow the Marshall County Fiscal Court Facebook page for updates throughout the day.

There are reports of fake FEMA agents in the area. Please know that when FEMA arrives in Marshall County we will post information on the Fiscal Court Facebook page on how to identify and where to find them.

There are reports of attempted looting by land and water. Resources are being deployed to prevent as much as possible including night time flying of drones to monitor the area.
Due to debris in the water (not only near shore lines) please avoid traveling by boat or sightseeing from the water. The coast guard will be patrolling on the water as well.

In order to access the Cambridge/Moors area please provide proof of residency, especially if your primary residence is out of state.
