Roberta Turner Ligon, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 10, 2021.
Mrs. Ligon was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carl (Jack) Ligon; her parents, Guthrie and Margaret (Maggie Colvin) Turner of Ballard County; her twin brother, Robert (Buddy) Turner; and two sisters, Rosella Thurmand and Joan Lanier.
Roberta is survived by her daughters, Pam Shane and husband, Joe Shane and Carla Ligon; her special friend, John Anderson; her granddaughter, Tamara Phillips and husband, Joe; one grandson, Christopher Phillips and wife, Channing; one great-great-granddaughter, Margo Phillips; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Roberta’s life in the Spring.
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
