Mr. Charles Lancaster, 69, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Mr. Lancaster was born on May 21, 1952 in Memphis, TN, to Jerome and Fannie Sue Lancaster. After 30 years working as a machinist at Quebecor Printing Company in Nesbit, Mississippi, he and his wife, Joni, retired and moved to Kentucky Lake. Chuck loved to be in his workshop and always had a project or two going. He spent much of his time traveling the United States and participating at drag races and vintage car shows. He was well loved and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerome Lancaster and nephew, Mitchell Laws.

Those he lovingly leaves behind include his wife of 48 years, Joni Lancaster of Murray; his mother, Fannie Sue Lancaster of Mayfield; a son, Charles Ransom Lancaster of Charlotte, Arkansas; a sister, Martha Laws and husband, Luther of Wingo; a brother in law, Charles Wicker of Murray and nieces, Heather Laws Elliott and husband, Mark Elliott of Mayfield and Lily Wicker of Dallas, TX.

His family welcomes visitors from 2 PM – 4 PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray.
