Tristan Bagby of Benton, signed on National Signing Day with the Oklahoma State University equestrian team. Tristan attended Marshall County schools through her eighth grade year at South Marshall Middle. She began her freshman year enrolled in Barren County’s online program due to her extensive travel throughout the year. Tristan is enrolled in honors and A/P classes and maintains a 4.0 grade point average.
She received a full ride, athletic and academic scholarship, to Oklahoma State University where she will be on their NCAA Division 1 equestrian team. She competes in the sport of reining and has achieved over $40,000 in winnings over the past couple of years.
Known for their national titles, the equestrian team is under the direction of Head Coach Larry Sanchez who is currently in his 20th season.
Tristan will graduate in 2022 and start at Oklahoma State University the fall of 2022.
