Almo Man and Woman Arrested Following Death Investigation

On Saturday, October 23, 2021 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Whitlow Lane in Almo for a report of a deceased male in a residence. Upon their arrival, they met with Murray-Calloway County Emergency Medical Services and the Calloway County Coroner.

Tyrone J. Brewer, age 67, of Almo, Kentucky was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:40 a.m. by Calloway County Coroner Ricky Garland. On Monday, October 25, 2021, an autopsy of Mr. Brewer was conducted by the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville. Preliminary findings of that autopsy included indications of strangulation.

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, a search warrant was served at the Whitlow Lane residence Mr. Brewer was located in at the time of his death. Various items believed to be related to the ongoing death investigation were located and seized. Deputies also located and seized numerous firearms, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Cheryl D. Fogle, age 46, of Almo, Kentucky was arrested and charged with Murder. She was lodged in the Calloway County Jail. Adam D. Fogle, age 35, of Almo, Kentucky was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled
Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was assisted during the investigation by the Kentucky State Police, the Calloway County Coroner’s Office, and the Department of Community Based Services.
