The Director of Kentucky Lake Economic Development Josh Tubbs joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Tubbs says the recent announcement by Ford to build battery producing plants in Hardin County and the Ford electric truck producing plant near Memphis will benefit both Hardin County and the entire state, including west Kentucky. Tubbs said Marshall County is also fortunate to be one of three Kentucky counties to receive a $285,000 grant to build a pad ready site in South West One Industrial Park that will be built to attract new industry to Marshall County.
