On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at approximately 11:48 AM, Drug Division detectives and patrol deputies, with the McCracken County  Sheriff’s Office, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic
violations on Cairo Road.

Contact was made with the operator, Lolita Carruthers, 37, and her two passengers, Jasmine N. Glore, 31, and Lora Marie Penn, 37. It was  quickly determined that all three individuals were under the influence  of an intoxicating substance believed to be Methamphetamine.

Through the investigation, it was learned that as they were being  pulled over, Carruthers hid Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia  inside the vehicle. During a probable cause search of the vehicle,  detectives and deputies located the Methamphetamine and the Methamphetamine smoking pipe that Carruthers hid.
