I am excited to announce that I will be seeking the office of Marshall County Clerk in the 2022 election. My husband Randy and I live in Calvert City where we have raised our family the last 28 years and he works at Ashland Chemicals as a union operator. I began working in the Clerk’s Office in 2002 and have served as the Chief Deputy Clerk for the past 11 years.
Though people usually associate our office with vehicle tags, it is responsible for so much more such as deeds and records, delinquent taxes and most importantly, voter registration and conducting elections. We have the best team in all of our departments and are complimented all the time on our customer service which I am very proud of.
When asked what you would do as County Clerk, it is really hard to have a huge agenda. All you can promise is that you will run the office efficiently and offer great service to our county. The Clerk’s Office brought in over 11 million dollars last year and I think it’s important for someone with experience that knows how the office operates, take the position.
I look forward to working hard and gaining the county’s trust and hopefully their vote.
