Mrs. Katie Morgan, age 92, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and a retired employee of Watson’s Food Center.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters, Mary Hughes and Karen (John) Taylor both of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, Stine McAllister of North Little Rock, AR and Russell T. McAllister of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Morgan; three brothers, Joe McAllister, Robert McAllister and William McAllister; two sister, Ava Voelpel and Wilma Nossaman; and her parents, Todd and Ola Harris McAllister.
Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Morgan will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. John Taylor, Rev. Gary Heath and Rev. Paul Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James McBee, Tony McBee, Adam Taylor, Paul Taylor, Sam Bierds and Larisa Bierds.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
