Joan Day, 86, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital.
Joan was born in Anna, Illinois on September 17, 1934 to the late Floyd and Lovena Fisher Hileman. She attended Paducah Beauty School and was a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed crafts of any kind and tending to her flower garden. Joan was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church.
Joan is survived by one son, Wayne A. Day (Patricia) of Jackson; one sister, Pat Rhodes (Harley) of Anna, Illinois; two grandchildren, Bryan Day of Ackerman, Mississippi and Mary Kathryn Day of Jackson, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lynn Day and her parents.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Illinois at 1:30 p.m. with Danny Orzine officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
