Cathy Y. Peck, age 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:18 A.M. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Cathy was born in Paducah on February 4, 1949 to John and Mary Young. She was a devoted member of Reidland Baptist church where she served with the Awana program and Children’s Choir.
Mrs. Peck is survived by her daughter, Angela Hawes (Eric), of Okinawa, Japan; her son, Chris Peck (Kim), of Paducah; her sister, Marcy Lynch (Milton), of Paducah; Her brother, John Young, Jr (Geneva), of Paducah; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several neices and nephews.
Mrs. Peck was preceded in death by two sons, Tony and Jay Peck; her parents, John Young, Sr and Mary Rust Young.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
