Billy Joe Stacey, age 62, of Benton, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Marshall County Hospital.
Billy was born on December 28, 1958 in Joliet, IL to the late William Herman and Barbara Logsdon Stacey. William was a very hardworking man. Over the years he worked construction, maintenance, and tending farms. In his free time, he enjoyed muscle fishing, going to car shows, and listening to southern 70’s rock music. Most of all, he loved his family and his dog, Penny. His unconditional love could always be felt and he would never turn his back on anyone.
He is survived by his loving partner of 18 years, Karen Vaughn; two sons, Craig Stacey (Mishanda) of Paducah, KY and William “Shane” Stacey (Heather) of Benton, KY; one sister, Sarah Stacey of Anna, IL; one brother, Cody Stacey of Marion, IL; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Stacey; his step son, Will Stice; and his parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
