Mrs. Wanda Chilton Gray, 94 of Benton, KY passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Monday, February 28, 1927 in Central City, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Burden and the late Lurie (Dockery) Burden. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are sons, Michael (Donna) Chilton of Cadiz, KY, Jerry Chilton of Sun City Center, FL, Ronald (Sherry) Chilton of Benton, KY and Donald Chilton of Benton, KY, brother, Hershel Burden, Jr. of Miami, FL; grandchildren, James “Jim” Rogers, Jason Chilton, Michael Chilton, Jr., Crystal Hancock, Adam Chilton and Stephanie Seeley; 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stratton Chilton, who passed away June 2 1959 and Harry Delphon Gray, who passed away July 7, 2012; by daughter, Beverly Rogers; sister, Wilma Paige; grandson, Robert “Bob” Rogers II.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY. Interment will follow the service.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
