Mrs. Betty Ilene Jackson, 82, of New Concord, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Spring Creek Post Acute Care & Rehab in Murray.
Mrs. Jackson was born on May 20, 1939 in Waylon, KY to the late William and Lola Calhoun Campbell. She practiced nursing for over 30 years, specifically mental health nursing. Betty loved crafting and was very artistic. She was a social lady and loved her time playing bunko with friends. In addition, she was a member of the Kentucky Homemakers Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, TJ Lehr, as well as, a son in law, Terry Lehr.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her loving husband of 62 years, Mr. Burnice Jackson of New Concord; a daughter, Rene` Lehr of Anderson, IN; a brother, Jimmy Campbell (Cindy) of Anderson, IN; three grandchildren, William “Trea” Lehr (Megan) of Anderson, IN, Caden Lehr, Kyan Lehr both also of Anderson, IN and one great grandson, Noah Lehr of Anderson, IN.
The funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jackson is set for 1 PM on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Sammy Cunningham will officiate and burial will follow at Murray City Cememtery.
Her family welcomes visitors from 11 AM- 1 PM on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the funeral home.
