Mrs. Mary Brooks Taylor, 89 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Sunday, March 20, 1932 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Mason Dotson and the late Edith (Thompson) Dotson. She was the wife of the late Revell Walton Taylor, Jr. She was the retired owner and operator of The Answer Consignment Shop in Benton and was a part of the House of Prayer that met in her building.
Surviving are her sons, Ken Alan Harrison, wife Jill of Cadiz, KY and Joe B. “Butch” Harrison, wife Jeanie of Eminence, MO; sister, Dean Williams of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Eric Harrison, Trent Harrison, Ryan Harrison and Lyndsi Hawkins; great grandchildren, Elliana Grace Hawkins, Quin Hawkins, Fiona Hawkins, Whitley Jo Harrison, Tucker Harrison and Lincoln Harrison.
Public graveside services for Mrs. Taylor will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Benton Cemetery in Benton, KY, with Rev. Rick D. Miller officiating. Interment will follow the service.
No public visitation is scheduled.
