The Marshall County Exceptional Center would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped to make the 2021 Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament such a success. We are pleased to announce that approximately $31,000.00 was raised at the Tournament on June 26th at Benton Country Club. The year’s total surpasses last year’s and is an absolute blessing to our non-profit. Every dollar raised at the event goes directly toward providing the services that our clients and their families rely upon.
I would like to personally thank everyone who worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. I cannot name every person who made this year’s tournament so wonderful, however I want to convey our gratitude felt by the Board of Directors, Clients, and Staff of MCEC to every donor, participant, and sponsor that so graciously helped us to exceed our fundraising goal. The Golf Tournament Committee, Corporate Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, Team Players, Benton Country Club, Tyler D Par 3 Challenge Sponsors, and so many more people came together to work diligently to raise the funds necessary to keep MCEC operating. I also want to thank Doug and Rita Dotson for their unwavering support and countless hours spent coordinating efforts to make the tournament one to remember.
Our mission is to serve individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities regardless of government waiver support or ability to pay, rather our Center is 100% free of charge to those who need us. The Exceptional Center relies on fundraising events such as this golf tournament to provide the services that our individuals and community rely upon. Without the support that we receive, our Center simply would not be in operation.
