Marshall County student attends McConnell Center’s 2021 Young Leaders Academy

Marshall County High School student, Sarah Umbarger, was one of 24 high school students selected from across the state to attend the McConnell Center’s 2021 Young Leaders Academy. The McConnell Center offers this program to outstanding high school students to help further their leadership skills and understanding of American History. This year’s conference, “Revisiting American Constitutionalism”, was held June 16th-19th on the University of Louisville’s Belknap campus. Sarah participated in university scholar presentations, small group discussions, debates, and group activities during her four-day stay at the University of Louisville. The academy was led by faculty, staff and students of the University of Louisville.
