Benton, KY. (June 16, 2021) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 are investigating a two-vehicle injury collision in Marshall County involving a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy and another vehicle. The collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on US HWY 641 near Interstate 69 at the intersection of Mayfield Highway (KY 58). The investigation is ongoing at this time and is being conducted by Trooper Aaron Jestes. An update will be released once more details will be made available.
The southbound lanes of US HWY 641 were closed at Mayfield Highway (KY 58) for approximately two hours.
