Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. He said many of the paving projects that were put on hold last year because of the pandemic are kicking back in. Also, the Benton project on Main and Poplar has been extended until the fall, but should be completed by mid-October. And Todd says AAA estimates that vehicle travel during the month of June will be as busy as it’s been in the last five years. And he says the best thing you can do to help keep you safe is to buckle up.
