Jessica Irwin with the VFW Post on Highway 408, just east of WCBL joined us recently on Coffee Call. The VFW Memorial Day program will be Monday, Memorial Day at 11 am at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville. Irwin says state commander Gary Smithers, a Marshall County native will be the keynote speaker. And the VFW will be hosting a big yard sale June 3, 4 & 5, all part of the 400 Mile Yard Sale. And you can get dinner at the VFW every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night.
