Elena Blevins, the executive director of the Kentucky Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau says she is excited about the upcoming tourist season in the lakes area. Blevins appeared on WCBL’s Coffee Call recently.

 She says with the lakes area being a very derivable location for so many people makes it very attractive as a vacation destination. Blevins says the top five markets to draw from are Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, Louisville and a toss-up between St. Louis and Atlanta. City-wide yard sales are coming up in the first weekend in June to go along with the 400 Mile Yard Sale. You can register on the Benton Partnership Face Book page.
