Commencement was held at Marshall County High School Friday evening at Carroll Traylor Stadium for 264 graduates of the Class of 2021. The first outdoor graduation in over 40 years, the students entered to “Pomp and Circumstance” played by the concert band, proceeded down the steps of the stadium and across the football field.
A welcome message from MCHS Principal Robin McCoy was followed by senior addresses from Ethan Morgan, DJ Stover, Karly Jones and Gabbi Lovett.
The MCHS Choir sang “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” followed by the Presentation of the Graduates.
Superintendent Trent Lovett, in his final address to the seniors, declared them graduates of Marshall County High School.
