Brenda Gargus Jackson, age 78 of Mayfield, KY passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 at her residence.
Brenda was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bro. Charles “C.W.” Jackson; one son, William (Suzanne) Jackson of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Christy (Danny Joe) Cook of Pilot Oak, KY and Lisa (Joel) Skaggs of Lowes, KY; two brothers, James (Tammy) Gargus and DeWayne (Sharon) Gargus both of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Chasity Crosslin, Charles Allen Cook, Allison Smith, and Madison Skaggs; eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Gargus; one grandchild, Casey Skaggs; her parents were William Terrell and Ruth Speed Gargus.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM Monday May 3, 2021 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Bro. Howard Copeland and Bro. Glynn Copeland will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Highland Park Mausoleum in Mayfield. William Jackson, Charles Cook, Darrell Gargus, Keith Gargus, Wesley Gargus, and Brent Gargus will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday May 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
