Monna Sue Dumas, 82 of Benton, KY passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at her home.
Born Sunday, February 26, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Luther Allmon and the late Maggie (Harvey) Allmon.
She was a retired production operator at Briggs and Stratton in Murray, KY.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Aberts of Hampstead, MD, James “Jimmy” Aberts of Henderson, KY; step-son, Donnie Dumas of Jasper, IN; daughters, Patricia Mackie of Benton, KY, Tonie Pemberton of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Allie Mackie, Mandy Mendez, Brenda Sue Fambrough, David Cheatham, Jamie Aberts, Tanya Stephan, Brittany Aberts, Charles William Aberts and Michael Robert Aberts; step-grandchildren, Conner Dumas and Jenna Sturm; 12 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dumas; parents; brothers, Jim Allmon, Cecil Allmon, J.L. Allmon and sister, Margie Carrington.
A service celebrating the life of Monna will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Gary Knuckles and David Smith will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
