Mrs. Mary Frances Susan Borders, 83 of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Born Saturday, July 31, 1937 in Smithland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ashley Brown and the late Agnes (Bennett) Brown.
She was a nurse’s aid at Marshall County Hospital, Britthaven Nursing Home, West KY Allied Service, Calvert City Convalescent Center and was a faithful member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Billy Lee Massengill, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama; daughters, Christine Pierce of Benton, KY, Tina Maria Lee Massengill of Benton, KY; step sons, Gary Allen Borders of Benton KY, Rickie Borders of Calvert City, KY, David Clinton Borders of Benton, KY; step daughters, Brenda DeBoe of Paducah, KY, Shelia Borders of Cleveland, OH, Pam Will of California; brother, Oliver Brown of Paducah, KY; 11 grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her Husband Audie Ludd “Jack” Borders; son Jerry Lee Massengill; Grandsons, Billy Lee Massengill, III and Christopher Kuntz; Great Granddaughter, Alyssa Maria Lee Phelps; parents, six brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Benton KY with Bill Amberg and Nathan Ruggles officiating.
Interment will follow at Scotts Chapel Cemetery in Smithland, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
