James H. Noles, Jr., age 89, of Paducah passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Mercy Health Lourdes. James was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and served as a Church Trustee. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad after working 36 years as an Engineer. James was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed motorcycle races, watching the Chicago Bulls Basketball and watching tennis matches.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lynda C. Hurt Noles; one daughter, Leisa Noles Wells of Paducah; one son, Lucky (Sherry) Noles of Paducah; one step-daughter, Lisa Deming of Marion, IL.; one half-sister, Betty (Merle) Jackson of Paducah; one brother, Justin (Paulette) Jones of Akron, OH; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Noles, Sr. and Iris McMahan Noles.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
