Techie T. Copeland, 78 of Puryear, TN died on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY.
Born Saturday, December 26, 1942 in Oak Level, KY, she was the daughter of the late Joe Hollie Copeland and the late Evalena Copeland.
Surviving are son, Kerry “Fuzzy” McDermott wife Cathy of Puryear, TN; daughter, Jennifer Smethers husband Garry of Benton, KY; brother, James “Dink” Copeland of Symsonia, KY; grandchildren, Brandi Clark husband John of Paducah, KY, Candez Campbell of Calvert City, KY, Shawna Mann of Benton, KY; and great grandchildren, Breana Travis of Benton, KY, Paige Roberts of Benton, KY, David Clark of Paducah, KY and Briar Mann of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Copeland; and sisters, Suzy Smith, Mattie Redden, Dean Haynes and Wilma Watkins.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Danny Pruitt officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Level Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Collier Funeral Home.
