Mr. David Houser, age 74 of Hopkinsville, KY, died Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at his residence. Born February 13th, 1947 in Mayfield, KY, Mr. Houser was the son of Urey and Ola Mae (Housden) Houser. He was a retired mechanic and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his companion of 21 years, Carolyn Wyatt of Hopkinsville; one son, Todd Houser of Gilbertsville, KY; two daughters, Stacey (Michael) Houser and Heather (Marv) Conrad, both of Memphis, TN; 15 grandchildren, Dylan Houser, Lilly Kay Houser, Connor Moore, Lainey Conrad, Greyson Morse, Sarah Jones, Devlin Wyatt, Timothy Wyatt, Kenzie Wyatt, Taylor Wyatt, Lindsey Wyatt, Ashley Wyatt, Madison Wyatt, Jackson Whitehouse, and Leann Wyatt; and one great-grandson, Jonathan Smithson.
Mr. Houser was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean (Holmes) Houser; parents, Urey and Ola Mae Houser; one brother, Jewel Houser; and one sister, Lyda Watkins.
Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, KY with Rev. David Sphinx officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery in the Golo community.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16th at the funeral home
