
Hannah Langhi ranks high on the list of the best players to grace the floor at Marshall County’s Reed Conder Gymnasium. She is the second player in program history to achieve over 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds during her career with the Lady Marshals – finishing with 1,545 points and 1,044 rebounds.
Hannah is now in her senior season at the University of Central Arkansas and was recognized along with four other Sugar Bear seniors on Senior Night before Saturday’s game against Abilene Christian. Hannah finished the night with eight points in their 55-53 win.
In 20 games this season, she has 55 points and recorded 45 rebounds. The Sugar Bears (9-12, 7-6) have three games left in their regular season before the Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, Tex. March 11-14.
In her career at the University of Central Arkansas including Saturday’s game, Hannah has 554 points, 409 rebounds, 76 assists, 55 blocks and 57 steals. Coming into her senior season, she had 39 starts and appeared in 81 games with an average of 6.2 points per game, including 22 in double figures and 4.5 rebounds per game.
As a junior, Hannah started in 20 of 29 games she played in and averaged 8.1 points per game and a team-leading 6.0 rebounds per game. She finished the season with 236 points and 175 rebounds. Her 79.4 percent free throw average was a team best while topping the scoring column five times. She finished the 2019-2020 season with 175 rebounds and led the team in rebounding in eight games and a total of 26 blocks which led in 14 games while averaging 25.7 minutes of playing time per game.
In her sophomore season, she appeared in 30 games with 17 starts and averaged 6.8 points per game, including a season high of 19 points against Northwestern State. She finished the 2018-2019 season with 203 points and 136 rebounds.
As a freshman, Hannah saw playing time in 22 games with another season high of 19 points scored in their game against Crowley’s Ridge. She finished her first collegiate season with 60 points and 53 rebounds.
While at Marshall County, Hannah helped lead the Lady Marshals over her four years to a 102-33 record, a Sweet 16 State Quarter Final appearance in 2014 and Region and District Championships in 2014.
In 2015, 2016 and 2017, she was selected to the All-District Tournament and All-Purchase Teams and selected to the All-Region Team in 2017. In 2016, Hannah was a Kentucky Junior All-Star selection and AP All-State Honorable Mention. In her senior season, she was named the All-Purchase Player of the Year, KBAC Region 1 Player of the Year, Miss Kentucky Basketball Candidate, Kentucky/Ohio All Star, KABC East/West All Star, Courier Journal 2nd Team All-State and Lexington Herald-Leader 3rd Team All-State.
