The Lakes Area brings in tourists from all over the country. Elena Blevins with the Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Blevins says while you’re stuck inside your home because of the weather, now’s a good time to plan your “staycation” in the lakes area. She said lots of people took advantage of the outdoors in our area last summer, and she expects that to continue this spring and summer with our lakes, fishing, hiking and all the other fun activities this area has to offer.
