Mary Sue Wallace, 81, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mary was born in Paducah on August 11, 1939 to Lawrence “L.L.” and Clara (Henry) Saltzgiver. She worked for and retired from Sears, where she sold maintenace agreements in the telephone sales department. Mary was a member of the Central church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, reading books, and watching movies. She was always happiest anytime she was able to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Karen Morris of Brookport, Illinois; one son, Craig Wallace (Mindy) of Metropolis, Illinois; one sister, Joyce Thompson, of Paducah, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Tasha Seigart of Brookport, Illinois, Katrina Warner of Lanse, Michigan, Kristen Fergusen of Columbus, Kentucky, Samantha Wallace of Bardwell, Kentucky, Raylan Wallace of Metropolis, Illinois, Kolly Wallace of Metropolis, Illinois, Johnathan Wallace of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jeremy Wallace of Paducah, Kentucky; and five great grandchildren, Taven Hinson, Levi Seigart, Lexi Seigart, Mason Warner, and Pheonix Crafton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Collie Wallace; one son, Bobby Wayne Morris; her parents, L.L. and Clara Saltzgiver; two sisters, Mavis Helzer and Shirley Burch; two brothers, Troy Wayne Saltzgiver and Raymond Lee Saltzgiver.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, January 11, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Burial will follow at Palestine Church Cemetery in Paducah.
