The Marshall County 911 Center is experiencing a 911 outage at this time. This is due to an explosion in downtown Nashville Tennessee that has damaged AT&T circuits which route 911 calls appropriately. The outage is affecting the entire state of Kentucky and is impacting both land lines and cell phones. We have been advised AT&T currently has no ability to re-route 911 calls. The AT&T Resolution Center has advised they are currently working to restore the service, but there is no estimated time of completion. If you have an emergency in Marshall County please dial (270) 527-COPS or (270) 527-5155. We will be updating on this situation as more information becomes available. Updates will be provided via Facebook on the Marshall County 911 page. The Marshall County Fiscal Court and Marshall County Emergency Management pages will be sharing any updates we receive. Remember during this outage the most important information you can provide 911 is an exact location of your emergency.
Proposals for infrastructure that will allow Marshall County 911 to be more resilient in the future during these types of incidents have been presented to the Fiscal Court and we hope to implement those in the near future.
