Mr. Adam Krywokobylskyj, age 86 of Grand Rivers, KY died on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. He worked for 29 years for KY State Parks as Executive Chef and Western KY Food Supervisor. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
Born Thursday, September 20, 1934 in Ustryki Dolnu, Ukrain, he was the son of the late Theodore Krywokobylskyj and Maria (Schmidt) Krywokobylskyj.
Surviving are his daughter, Donna Krywokobylskyj Hurt, husband William of Grand Rivers, KY; sons, John Krywokobylskyj, wife Betty of Benton, KY and Paul Krywokobylskyj of Grand Rivers, KY; grandchildren, Matthew E. Hurt of Gilbertsville, KY, Daniel A. Hurt of Grand Rivers, KY, Lisa Parrott of Carlisle Co., and great-grandchildren, Matthew Miles Hurt, Sophia Grace Hurt, John Davis, Harvey Reece Hurt and Adam Kristopher Hurt..
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years, Shirley Frances (Kestel) Krywokobylskyj, and son, Michael Adam Krywokobylskyj.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, 1907 Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, KY 42025 with William D. Hurt and Matthew E. Hurt officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled.
